Collgar Wind Farm Pty Ltd, part of the Collgar Renewables Group, is pleased to announce that it has been named as Sector Leader by GRESB for its sustainability leadership in 2023. Collgar is proud of its efforts to maintain this designation and for being recognised as an industry leader in ESG management and performance for a third consecutive year.
“We are incredibly honoured to be recognised by GRESB as a global sector leader in Renewable Power for the 2022 assessment year;” said Mr Thomas Scott-Morey, Collgar CEO. “This recognition wouldn't have been possible without a huge amount of effort by our dedicated and determined team, direction of our Board and support from our shareholder, Rest.”
“Collgar is passionate about renewable energy; and this year’s result demonstrates our continued effort to deliver sustainable, long-term value for all stakeholders. As we continue to grow the business, our values underpin all aspects of our ongoing approach to maintaining our ESG leadership position.” he added.
Andrew Lill, Chief Investment Officer at Rest, said: “This is fantastic recognition by GRESB for Collgar’s dedication to ESG and sustainability. With Rest’s longstanding objective to achieve a net-zero carbon footprint for the fund by 2050, we’re proud of Collgar’s achievements on behalf of our 1.96 million members, which also supports our ambition to help members reach their best-possible retirement outcome.”
Each year, GRESB assesses and benchmarks the ESG performance of assets worldwide, providing clarity and insights to financial markets on complex sustainability topics.

We wholeheartedly commend this year's Sector Leaders for their dedication, leadership and commitment to ESG principles and sustainability," said Sebastien Roussotte, CEO of GRESB.
