Collgar Opens New Community Office and Welcomes Local Engagement Advisor

Collgar Renewables has strengthened its local presence in the Wheatbelt with the opening of a dedicated community office in Merredin, providing a local point of contact for community members to connect directly with the Collgar team, and to access information about Collgar Wind Farm and the proposed Tandegin Wind Farm projects.

The office forms part of Collgar's long-term approach to community engagement and stakeholder relationships, providing a dedicated presence in the region as Collgar continues to support its existing operations and progress future development opportunities. It will help ensure local perspectives are heard and considered throughout project planning and decision-making processes.

To support this, a locally based Community Engagement Advisor has also been appointed to strengthen relationships across the Wheatbelt and provide a direct link between local communities and Collgar. This role will help ensure community perspectives are understood and considered throughout project planning and delivery, while also supporting greater awareness of community investment opportunities available through the Collgar Community Fund.

Collgar CEO Sam Pearce said the new office and the appointment of a locally based advisor reflect Collgar's long-term commitment to the Wheatbelt and its desire to remain closely connected to the communities that have supported its operations over many years.
