Collgar Renewables is delighted to announce that Mr Brett Wickham has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Appointed to the Collgar Renewables Board in June 2026, Brett brings extensive development experience and has built a distinguished career in engineering and energy. Over the past two decades he has focused primarily on the development, construction and operation of renewable energy assets globally. He began his career in technical and operational roles, progressing into engineering and project delivery, and subsequently into senior executive leadership.

Most recently, Brett held the role of Managing Director at Acciona Australia. His tenure with Acciona included several senior leadership roles across Australian and International markets, including Europe and South Africa. As Managing Director, he was accountable for the overall performance and growth of the Australian business, including strategy, project pipeline development, stakeholder engagement and delivery of a significant portfolio of wind and solar assets.
In addition to his executive experience, Brett has been involved in industry and governance roles, contributing to broader sector development and policy engagement.
“I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my extensive energy experience in a non-executive capacity, particularly with a renewable energy business. I am attracted to Collgar’s model to develop, build and own operating assets, which aligns closely with my experience at Acciona”, Mr Wickham said.
The Board, and Collgar’s owners Rest, are delighted to welcome such an experienced and highly regarded Director to the business.
Collgar also wishes to advise that Sylvia Wiggins has retired from the Board. The Board expresses its appreciation of Sylvia’s valued contribution to its deliberations over several years. Sylvia has been a highly regarded member of the Board and its sub committees, particularly in her leadership of the Audit and Risk Committee.
